Donations of all kinds….

yes, yes I still suck with updating. But life is keeping me really busy.

So I was thinking about organ donation. The thing is that I think it’s a really, really great cause. but I dont have an organ donation pass just yet. And I will tell you why. I got the feeling that when I get me a pass I could battle destiny. Yeah it’s pathatic, right? I also kinda think that if a doctor sees that you are an organ donater chances are higher that they wont do everything to help you. My parents know that I wouldnt want to lay there being just alive because of machines. And they know that Im thinking about organ donation. So if anything happens to me I know they will do it. It just scares me beyond telling to consider dying some day. I lost a bunch of friends through car crashes and some family members so Im aware how short life can be. Death was always present in my life. But still I dont wanna think about my own death. I gotta say watching Men in Trees really got me thinking that I need to get me a pass. And well I think I really will do it. And that’s all because Men in Trees really inspired me to do it.

then there is blood donation. I never did it. Not because I dont want to or because Im scared of needles, no it’s because Im not good with giving blood. I dont even know which blood type I have. I’ll probably try it the next time it’s in my city. Because giving blood is an important thing. It saves a lot of life. If I break down after giving some blood, I at least did something good.

I also was tested for spinal cord a few years ago. But I never heard anything back. So Im not sure if Im still registered. But I wouldnt think twice to donate spinal cord if I would be a fit.

`Cuz all of this is really important and can save a lot of lives. I just had to share a few thougths.
